Thin Technologies is a fast-growing Professional Services provider company, that provides Senior level IT service to our partners.
We are expanding our consulting department and looking for a strong Cisco Core Route Switch Network Engineer. This is a telecommute position and may include travel. Est. 3 month contract with potential to join the full time team.
Contract Terms:

• Pay DOE
• 1099 or W2 Contract.

Job Description:
Join a large team integrating and managing Multiple Cisco WAN devices and core switching across 2 sites. All configuration work will be performed against the detailed design that has been completed.

Job Responsibilities/Expectations:

• Ongoing Configuration of Cisco Route/Switch Environment
• VPC Configuration
• Switch Logging and Security Integration
• Participate in integrated and operational testing of data center operations.
• Must possess good people skills
• Must possess good written skills
• Must be responsive
• Must be willing to travel initially and work remote securely
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be US Citizen

Desired Certifications:

• Cisco CCNP or higher

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or healthcare data center networking.
• 5+ years of experience in deploying and operating BGP, multi-site and VPC configurations
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus (9000 series) platforms.
• Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, and multicast.
• Familiarity with network segmentation, Zero Trust, and micro segmentation strategies.
• Strong Understanding Cisco Routing Protocols
