Eileen’s Special Cheesecake is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team! 

Eileen’s Special Cheesecake is a cult favorite, with a constant line out the door of eager cheesecake lovers ready to savor their favorite flavor. Each cheesecake is handmade at the original downtown bakery, with some employees who have been there for over 40 years.

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all BOH operations within Eileen’s. Their role is to work directly with the baking team members to ensure all products are consistent, presented beautifully and of the highest quality, without exception. This role is responsible for all the flow and production for the business – ordering, inventory management, baking schedules, new item launches, special orders and wholesale accounts are all under their purview.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in a comparable role (preferred)
• NY Food Protection Certificate (required)
• Fully understand and exhibit the Eileen’s Cheesecake ethos: embody our core values, inspire celebration, and create joy. Serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally
• Able to work a variable schedule per the needs of the business
• Other requirements: 18+ years of age. Able to lift 50+ pounds, walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions. Ability to work with blenders, mixers, milkshake machines, and other kitchen machinery. Ability to work in a kitchen environment with fluctuating temperatures and conditions. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
