JOB OVERVIEW:

• Job Title: Audiologist – Audiology
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Evansville, IN
• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

PATIENT INFORMATION:

• Patient Demographics: Pediatrics and Adults.
• Patient Volume/Census: Up to 15/day (rare).
• Case Mix: Tympanograms, Audiograms.

FACILITY INFORMATION:

• EMR System: Epic (highly preferred).
• Specialty Backup Available: Team of 3.5 Audiologists, 2 support staff.
• Support Staff Available: Yes.
• Reason for Coverage: Provider on leave, schedule backlog, maternity leave.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Rate: $77.4/hr.
• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance.

REQUIRED PROCEDURES:

• Tympanograms.
• Audiograms.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active IN license.
• Certifications: BLS.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Audiology.
• Other Qualifications: Experience with Epic EMR preferred.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide audiology services in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform tympanograms and audiograms for pediatric and adult patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (Epic).
• Collaborate with existing audiology team and support staff.
• Support patient care coverage during provider leave and scheduling backlog.
