Job Title:   Armed Security Officer – Residential Community

Location:   West Palm Beach, FL

Pay:  $20.00 per hour

Schedule:   Second Shift

About the Role

SecurTec is seeking an   Armed Security Officer   to provide security services for a high-activity residential community in West Palm Beach. This environment requires strong situational awareness, firm but respectful communication, and the ability to manage encounters with a wide range of individuals.

This is an active post where your presence, professionalism, and consistency directly contribute to maintaining order and safety in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible armed presence throughout the property
  
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking lots, and common areas
  
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify resident and visitor access
  
• Respond promptly to disturbances, safety issues, and emergency situations
  
• De-escalate conflicts professionally and enforce community rules
  
• Document all daily activities and incidents accurately
  
• Build rapport with residents while maintaining firm boundaries and professionalism
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Valid Florida Class G Security License (required)
  
• Florida Class D License
  
• Strong situational awareness and conflict-management skills
  
• Ability to patrol on foot and remain alert throughout the shift
  
• Professional communication and presence
  
• Reliable transportation
  
• Availability during   late afternoon into early evening   hours
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in busy or high-activity residential environments
  
• Military, law enforcement, or advanced security training
  
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification
