WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY CELEBRATION
World Environment Day is celebrated along with the 69th Birth Anniversary of Shri. Rajiv Dodannavar at Bharatesh Education Trust Global Business School
In the welcome address Asst. Prof. Ranjana spoke about the importance of Environment day and also encouraged the students to avoid use of Plastic in their daily life. She also motivated the students to plant sapling at their home and take care of them.
On the Occasion of World Environment Day, Shri Sharad Balikai, Chairman-GC; BETGBS, addressed the students and highlighted how the environment affects the life span of individuals and urged students to be eco-friendly. Sir shared his views about 3R’s; Reuse, Reduce & Recycle principle for environmental sustainability and better future for all. Sir also shared his memories and achievements about Late Shri Rajiv Dodannavar and spoke about his love toward nature and how he ensured the campus of the institute to be an eco-friendly campus. He urged the students to follow the footsteps of Rajiv sir and excel in life.
Shri Sharad Balikai sir donated indoor saplings to the institution and urged students to donate saplings on their birthday for sustainability. Students and all staff members planted the sapling in the college premise and vowed to take care of those plants. The event was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Ranjana and Asst. Prof. Pooja along with staff and students of events committee.
