Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School organized training on fire safety followed by mock drill by trainers and demonstrators from officers of Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services Fire Station, Belagavi. The program was attended by more than 80 students including staff of various Bharatesh institutions.

Dr. Prasad Daddikar, Director BET GBS welcomed the gathering. Shri Venktesh Takkekar, Fire station officer Karnataka State Fire and Emergency Services Fire Station, Belagavi enriched the knowledge of students and staff on possible causes of fire and how to tackle fire emergencies using easy methods. They also informed ways of preventing fire from spreading.

This was followed by mock drill at Bharatesh campus where students and staff had hands on experience of using various firefighting equipment’s in responding to fire emergencies and officers also educated students and staff of BET on usage of fire extinguishers on safety grounds.

Overall it was a great learning experience focusing on safety of precious human life. Shri Mahaveer Upadhye GC-Member, BET GBS presented the presidential remarks. Prof. Ranjana coordinated the program.
