Communal Harmony and national Integration Celebration

Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School observed “National Flag Day” in celebration and promotion of communal harmony & National Integration on 25th November 2019. Maj. Sadanand Shelke, retired Officer from Indian Army graced the occasion. He addressed the students on the topic” Role of Communal Harmony and National Integration in Nation Building”. Sir initiated the talk with highlighting on significance and our duties towards the symbols of national importance in India. He spoke on India’s diversified cultural, geographical, linguistic, food habits etc and aimed to convey how different India is in all these aspects and yet we all are united. He threw light on several historical Indian landmarks like Independence movement that was significantly successfully when the nation united for a cause. He told students about their role in making India a strong and successful nation and how education and technology can help in achieving the dream. He finally concluded by saying’ students must participate and be a part of providing and designing solutions to the country. Don’t ask what country has done to you, instead ask, what you can do to make India better.

Students were in prior given a task of fund raising for the cause of communal harmony wherein amount would be donated to National Foundation for Communal Harmony. The guest presented the award to student Shreyansh Sanaki of first year for his contribution of raising highest fund. The event concluded with vote of thanks.
