Belagavi- Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School (BETGBS)organized ‘Threshold 2019’ , a program to welcome the fresh batch of MBA students on campus. This is the eleventh batch of BETGBS, which was established in 2009.
Speaking as the chief guest, Madhwa N. Acharya, MD of Abhishek Alloys, Belagavi, said that all education must be useful to society. Just like a tree that takes from the earth to grow, but gives back once fully grown, a students must also contribute to society after completing education, he said. He also urged students that with changing times, one must be ready to face any challenges which are inevitable.
Dr. Prasad Daddikar, Director, BETGBS welcomed the guests, the parents and students. He presented a bird’s eye view of the MBA degree and the offerings of BETGBS. In his presidential remarks, Vinod Doddanavar, Chairman (Governing Council) of BETGBS said that students must learn to manage their time judiciously. An MBA is all about experiential learning, he said, adding that skills and attitude can take a student towards success. Members of the Governing Council Mahaveer Upadhye, Anupama Shirahatti, students of the fresh batch with their parents and staff were present. Swatee Jog anchored the event. Ranjana Upashi proposed the vote of thanks.
